December 17, 2026

Dear Clients,

As we look toward 2026, I want to share several significant updates to our practice that will be going into effect in the new year. These enhancements are designed to deepen the effectiveness of our work together and ensure that our operations support a seamless, high-quality experience for you.

1. Insight-Driven Progress Tracking (Greenspace Health) To maximize the value of your sessions, we are introducing Greenspace Health to provide measurement-based care.

  • Why Data Matters: Regular data tracking allows us to objectively measure the effectiveness of your treatment. It provides us with clear insight into your progress, ensuring that we are actively verifying improvements and adjusting our approach to suit your needs.

  • Next Steps: We will discuss enrollment and the specific metrics we will track in more detail during our next scheduled session.

2. Streamlined Billing To ensure the highest level of accuracy during our initial growth, billing was previously handled manually. As the practice expands, we are transitioning  to an automated billing system. Autopay will now process the night after your session.

  • Superbills: If you require a superbill for insurance reimbursement, please notify us via email at info@atlasdallas.com or through the SimplePractice portal. We will ensure these are generated for you at the end of each month.

  • Next Steps: No action is required on your part. However, if you ever encounter a billing inconsistency, please contact us at info@atlasdallas.com.

3. Scheduling & Cancellation Policy As Atlas continues to grow, the demand for appointment times has increased significantly. Historically, Atlas has not enforced a cancellation policy. However, to ensure that all clients have fair access to highly requested time slots, a formal policy will go into effect on January 1, 2026. This policy allows us to offer opened spots to other clients who may be waiting for support that week.

  • The Policy: Effective January 1st, please provide at least 24 hours' notice when cancelling or rescheduling.

  • The Fee: Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice will be billed at the full session rate.

4. Innovation in Care: AI-Assisted Documentation Artificial Intelligence is currently revolutionizing businesses across all sectors by driving efficiency and allowing individuals to focus on the most important aspects of their work. The American Psychological Association has published standards and guidelines for ethical use of Artificial Intelligence and acknowledges the potential benefit AI may provide.  Atlas strives to follow the APA’s guidelines to ensure that any service provided are HIPAA compliant, encrypted, and that your data is protected.  Please stay tuned to see how Atlas incorporates this novel technology that is reshaping how the field of psychology and mental health deliver services.

5. New Service: Adjunctive Exercise & Performance Training Starting in 2026, Atlas will begin offering a specialized service that integrates physical exercise as an adjunctive therapy to your current treatment.

  • The Science: This approach is grounded in the understanding that physical and mental health are deeply interconnected. Research published in The American Journal of Psychiatry highlights that physical activity is associated with significantly reduced mental health burden, acting as a powerful complement to traditional psychological interventions.

  • The Benefit: This service allows us to utilize movement and physical training to reinforce the psychological principles we discuss in therapy, helping to build resilience and regulate emotion.

Thank you for your partnership and dedication to your own growth. I look forward to a transformative 2026.

Warmly,

Jamarri Aikins, Ph.D.
