While Atlas is an out-of-network provider and does not bill insurance directly, we never want the upfront cost to be a barrier to the care you deserve. Many of our clients are pleasantly surprised to find that their insurance plans reimburse a significant portion of their session fees.
Here is how it works:
Step 1: You pay for your session at the time of service.
Step 2: We provide you with a comprehensive "Superbill" (an itemized medical receipt).
Step 3: You submit this document to your insurance provider.
Step 4: Depending on your plan, your insurance company reimburses you directly for a percentage of the cost.
Tip: Call the number on the back of your insurance card and ask about your "out-of-network mental health benefits" to find out exactly how much they will cover.
